What are your plans following graduation? I plan on attending graduate school to pursue my masters in Public Health.

In what clubs, organizations or groups have you been involved? I have been part of Connect Four, which is a program run out of the College of Human Sciences, for a number of years as both a participant, Mentor, and Senior Mentor. I play for the club basketball team, serve as the Director of Multicultural Student Affairs on the Diversity Committee of Student Government and am the president of the Black Student Alliance.  I participated in the Iowa State/National Conference on Race and Ethnicity Project, have worked with a faculty member doing research and am a Ronald E. McNair scholar.

What has been your most memorable Iowa State experience? My most memorable experience was planning and implementing the inaugural Black Student Alliance Winter Formal. We were able to honor members and administrators making a difference as advocates and change agents.  It was an all-around amazing event.

What is one piece of advice you would offer to prospective students considering Iowa State? I would say that you should get involved. There are a lot of great experiences and opportunities that this campus has to offer and you should try to take advantage of as many as you can. College goes by fast and you'll want to capitalize on as many things that you can in the time that you are here.
