Peer Mentors
Peer Mentors play a critical role in the program’s mission as they help and guide their fellow scholarship peers. They work in close collaboration with the professional and graduate staff to support and facilitate student wellbeing and success. To their students, they are advocates, educators, role models, and friends. Each Peer Mentor will be assigned a particular number of students (the number will be dependent upon the total number of mentors). Peer Mentors meet with first year students regularly, usually two or more times a semester, over the course of year one at the University.
