General Scholarships and Funding Opportunities

  • Several scholarships and funds are offered through the Student Affairs Central Office.  This includes individual scholarships, professional development and experiential learning funding and organization funding.  More information and the applications can be found here.
  • The Office of Student Financial Aid maintains a database of scholarship opportunities; you are able to sort by a variety of categories.  

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences

  • Information about scholarships for College of Agriculture and Life Sciences students is located here.

College of Business

  • Information about scholarships for College of Business students is located here.
  • There is a possibility the MLO for the College Business may be able to provide assistance with some professional development.  Please contact Dr. Brenda Thorbs-Weber directly to discuss your needs.

College of Design

  • Information about scholarships for College of Design students is located here.
  • The Design Opportunity Award and other College of Design scholarships for multicultural students is located here.
  • Multicultural students in the College of Design can apply for professional development or progra-related funding.  More information and the application can be found here.

College of Engineering

College of Human Sciences

  • Information about scholarships for College of Human Sciences students is located here.  Applications are open from November until February 14.
  • College of Human Sciences Multicultural Programs Professional Development Funding (up to $100 per student, per academic year) is available for Multicultural College of Human Sciences students to support their academic success and growth in the professional aspects of their chosen field(s).  Find more information here.
  • Multicultural Programs Apparel Merchandising and Design Field Study Scholarship ($250) is awarded on a first-come first-serve basis to Multicultural Apparel, Merchandise and Design majors for expenses related to the required Field Study (to New York, Chicago, L.A., etc.). see Carmen Flagge for an application.

College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

  • Information about scholarships for College of Liberal Arts and Sciences students is located here.
  • Students who have been accepted to a study abroad program may be eligible for scholarships through the College.  More information is available here.
  • Students who have been accepted to a study abroad program maybe eligible for a passport award through the College.  The application can be found here.
